🎮Gameplay

Units

Legion of Vengeance is a PvP battle and army-building strategy. You’ll have AI warriors fighting for you, with over 30 types of units to choose from. They belong to several orders; some are great at brutal fighting, others at casting spells or constructing buildings. Some are immune to mind control or fire magic, others to specific types of blows.

Every unit can be leveled up to acquire new abilities. Moreover, you can pick up artifacts that will give an advantage to the whole squad.

In Legion of Vengeance, you can battle other players in the PvP mode, or the AI in the PvE (player versus environment) mode. There will also be grand tournaments and battles where several squads led by players can unite against a powerful AI foe. Victories will provide a booty of HPE tokens and NFT artifacts.

Quests

Apart from PvP and PvE battles, Legion of Vengeance will have dozens of quests to choose from, for example:

  • Freeing a town from Empire bandits;

  • Using a specific artifact in battle or to heal units;

  • Finding an artifact hidden on the map;

  • Completing 3 battles in a single day;

  • Collecting a certain amount of XP in one day;

  • Craft an NFT using several existing artifacts;

  • Completing X trades in the marketplace, or trading artifacts worth X HPE, and so on

Every quest will bring you XP, HPE, or an NFT as reward. Quests are a great way to accumulate tokens, though it won’t be possible to make steady progress on quests alone: you’ll still need to win battles.

Construction and exploration

Construction and resource mining are another important element. Different mining installations can produce HPE tokens, as well as natural resources used for NFT crafting – including the precious hyperium.

As you free the territory of Hyperion of enemy bases, you’ll uncover new regions on the map and increase the reward stream. You’ll also follow the story of the campaign, learning new things about the history of Ahatria and the Empire.

Upgrades

On Level 1, you will start out with a limited inventory for troops and artifacts. As you level up the character, you’ll be able to hire more warriors and add more items to the active inventory. Each individual unit can also be upgraded with the XP won during battles and HPE. The higher the level of a unit, the more HPE it costs to upgrade it.

How much you can upgrade the units will also depend on your character’s own level. In other words, the experience and powers of the commander determine how well-trained the troops can be. You’ll also need to hold a certain rank to use specific advanced artifacts.

Holding a Flower of Life NFT will provide great utility in Chapter 2, though we will keep the details under wraps for now.
